Bristol-based illustrator Anna Higgie puts an interesting twist on portraiture by superimposing 2D design on the faces she creates. By adding black and white stripes, maps and patterns, and distortions, she sets a mood while adding visual interest. Her personal focus seems to be on femininity and she takes a special interest is portraying models in some of her works and series. She has already had several exhibitions internationally and her client list includes the Guardian, Dazed and Confused, and Slow Motion/ Sameheads Berlin.
